How are these rifles? AIM has them for $179 and I was thinking of getting one.

i love mine, got it from sog, someone was saying they were on sale a few weeks ago for $155 @ SOG. i would give them a call.

The one I had was a good looking rifle, all numbers matched, good bore.

I got one last year. It's in excellent condition, both wood and metal. It's also very accurate. Mine had the flip rear aperture sight. I bought a milled micrometer rear sight from Numrich to put on it because I got tired of holdiing over for long range shooting

I got one from SOG. It is all matching and is in overall good shape. I think you will be happy if you get one. I haven't cleaned mine up yet as you can tell.

I also just purchased one from SOG. When I first got it the bore was very dark looking. However after about 40 or 50 patches and some good cleaning the barrel cleaned up very very nicely. Only about the first three inches of the bore shows any sign of minor pitting. Shoots great with the ammo I reloaded for another 303 British rifle I have. Great deal if you ask me!

I got mine from SOG in December. I was pleased with the condition. All matching numbers and a very good bore. Mine even came with a Savage marked bayonet. It shoots excellent with WWII surplus Brit ammo and current S&B ball ammo. The rifle even cooperates with stripper clips. I might get a new magazine spring though. Mine is slightly weak. It also looks nice next to my Mosin, K98, and Arisaka. There are still unfilled slots for a 1903 Springfield and a Garand.
