1. A friend of mine just inherited a HUGE collection worth tons of money as most of them are collectibles. We are talking cases upon cases of firearms. The firearms are in PA he lives in FL. How does he get the weapons to his house in florida. Transfering all of them at 25.00 a pop would be INSANE. Should he try to become a dealer? I really have no idea what he could possibly do. |
| That is exactly what I said. I even told him I would make the trip with him. His fear is getting pulled over getting searched and having a TRUCK LOAD OF GUNS. I know its perfectly legal but an LEO would for sure have a fit and cause a whole lot. The guns could get taken for some retarted reason and then he is in a fight to get them back with tons of legal fees. Its a risk and I think we all know that this COULD happen. |
Uhaul, don't speed, have some paperwork from the estate perhaps. |
I agree. If he absolutely rejects the "drive them yourself approach" (as has already been suggested and what I would suggest too, FWIW), then he should be able to find a local dealer who will accept and transfer them all for a flat, lump fee instead of $XX per firearm. How many are we talking about? 10? 100? 1,000? |
