Just wondering on the time it takes for interview for FFL. The deposit was taken on 1-25-2012 and I have not heard anything as of 3-15-2012.
Do they run behind or is it about 60 working days ? Thanks.

I had an interview three weeks after the debited my credit card. 40 days total from time I sent in application till I got my official paper.

My check was cashed Feb 26, have had no word as of yet. Is there a point of contact to inquire about progress?

I called the number from the web site http://www.atf.gov/firearms/how-to/become-an-ffl.html
The nice lady let me know it was proccessing and was unsure how long it would take. You might give them a call.

My first interview came pretty quick, about 4 weeks after sending in the app. I ended up having to move my shop due to zoning problems, had a second inspection and now they are telling me 4-6 weeks on licensing.
