I have an older suppressor for my M11 SMG.  I recently bought a Walther PPX M1 SD and wondered if the M11 suppressor would work on it (I don't have the funds to get a new suppressor for it right now.)  To try it I would need some kind of thread adapter with M11 sized thread on one side and whatever threads are on the PPX on the other.

Anyone know of any companies that make such things?

Best I can find on the PPX is it uses 1/2-28 threads. Wasn't sure if it was that or the M13.5LH instead. I'm guessing this is what you're after.

TROS also makes some M11 adapters, but I don't see a 1/2-28 version listed. You could probably find a local machinist that could make exactly what you want as well.

ETA: the adapter I linked is probably the opposite of what you need. I was thinking of converting the M11 to 1/2-28 so you could swap a 9mm can between the two. The adapter you posted a couple posts below would convert the PPX to the M11 threads.

Does your M11 suppressor have a booster or is it a subgun can with a fixed mount? If it's the latter, it  most likely will not work with your PPX even if you could find an adapter.

No booster, just female threads.

M11 has a fixed barrel.

That was my point. His M11 can was either a subgun can with a fixed mount or a traditional boostered can with a piston blocking tube (or fixed mount).

The PPX M1 SD will need a can with a booster to operate. Since OP's old M11 silencer is a fixed mount type, even if you could get a thread adapter, the pistol probably won't cycle with all that mass hanging off the barrel and no LID.

Looking at the US Machineguns site I think this is what I am looking for.

Thanks for pointing me there and pointing out that the gun won't cycle.  I did not think about that.

So I decided to buy the above part.  I also found an adapter to mate that part with the threads on my Sig Mosquito. The suppressor is huge, but it works fine on the Mosquito.  At least this gives me something to play with until I get finds to get some other suppressors.
