I'm trying to think of a way to make a 10/22 in a bullpup muzzlite stock lefty friendly. Changing the extractor to the other side and cutting a hole in the reciever won't work because the mag acts as a right handed ejector. Can anyone who has a muzzlite rig tell me if a brass deflector would work?

I don't see how it could work well.  You would have to deflect it straight forward (any design I can think of would be prone to jamming), or straight down into your shirt - which might get uncomfortable after a few hundred rounds.

Why not make a chute to drop them straight down?
