More exposure in this forum.

What are your opinions on these.
What would you recommend for the 9mm upper set up.
I was gonna keep my collection all Colt but I know its not worth the extra money.
Probably get a cheap RR lower for the uppers.
So I will get the mag block and sten mags.
Which upper do you guys recommend for the 9mm.
What issues should I be aware of ?

And which brand for the 7.62 upper.
Pros and cons on the 7.62 would be appreciated.

Thanks

I would say go ahead and get a 9mm upper.  I have the Olympic Arms 9mm upper, and I enjoy it very much.  You can get a SOCOM mag block and use unmodified STEN mags in it.  Now If you want a 7.62 upper, I would recommend getting a AK.  I have not heard much about the 7.62 uppers, but what I have heard has not been good.

I have two AK's already.
Which is part of the reason I was thinking about getting the 7.62 upper.

Oh, well, you can't ever have too many AK's or AR's as well!

Rather than re-type what I've already typed up in a webpage, look here:

I have multiple uppers with info on each at my site.
The biggest problem with the 7.62x39 uppers is the mags.  Do a search on 7.62x39 here on AR15.com and you will find many discussions on the mags.
