I'd like to share my piece of gear I built it back in November, but wanted field it before posting.
It's outside is 1000D coyote cordura and the inside is pleated 300g polartec fleece. Among the features are corded ends for keeping out wind, two interior pockets for disposable hand warmers, and 2 rows of PALS webbing. I looped it below my PC and it worked very well. Most all of the mornings this week was in the single digits and this little thing was doing it's job. It definitely keep my trigger finger nice and toasty.

almost exactly what I have planned out down to the pockets for chemical hand warmers. Ask Stoner63a, haha great minds! excellent work |

Have you seen these? 60 bucks. Somedays I kinda want one. Especially early in the mornings....
