The wife just called.  She knew I was expecting a package, and while she was taking a friend of my daughter's home she saw the BBTOH driving around the neighborhood.  She got home, saw the "We missed you" tag on the door, and drove around until she tracked the guy down.  That's devotion.

And, as a result of her efforts, she has 3 M44's from S.O.G. in her trunk.  

That place ships ridiculously fast.  I called and ordered these rifles on Thursday - UPS tried to deliver them on Friday.

The digital camera is packed up right now as I'm leaving for a Disney cruise in a few hours, but damn, these things are pretty.  Not a drop of cosmoline on them.  Of the three, one stock is perfect, one has a small scratch on the left side of the buttstock, and one has some scratches from storage.  I'm keeping the one with the small scratch (best trigger of the three) and I'm not even going to refinish it.  

I was thinking I'd have to fire up the Easy Bake Oven and do some cleaning on these, but they are ready to shoot right out of the box.
