HA! Those pics are of my brother's room we built during his new construction some years ago. He posted a nice build thread back then. I think he posted as "GlockShot" IIRC... Can any team members find his old thread for me? Possibly in the archives... You should see the collection now. |

Wow. That gives me more ideas for what to do with my lottery winnings.
I got an email a while back saying the first gun room was in the basement of a house that was for sale. No, I don't believe everything in emails, but I do think it's a private collection. There is a shooting range in the back. At first I was puzzled as to why the targets are so small since the collection is primarily machineguns. Then I figured on auto, you're bound to hit a few. Yes, I see the bolt actions, but seriously, is that what you'd shoot? The exit sign is there for people like me who wouldn't leave, claiming to be lost. In the post above mine, what the heck is that section of sewer pipe with the white rocket on the end? And another thing... I wanna know what the heck these guys do and if they're hiring?! Here's a request for pages 8-12. |

Long story short, he designed the All American 2000 pistol, and traded the design to Colt Firearms in exchange for their entire firearms collection. I'm pretty sure he got the better end of the deal as the All American 2000 was never a big seller. |

Alright,I got a e-mail this am with the claim that the first set of pic, are the private collection of Mr Charlton Heston but i cant document to call bullshit...... any ideas.................

| I'm just starting my gun room build. Converting one of the bedrooms. First step was to remove the 70's popcorn cielilng and have it re-textured. I am now masking things off and have cielings and walls to paint. Yesterday I ordered 6 cabinets (4 floor mount and 2 wall mount). Next week the counter top is getting ordered to go on top of the floor mount cabinets so I can mount up the loading presses. Closet doors are coming off and will hold the gun safe. I'll post pics shortly...... |
I just finished mine. This has been almost 3 months in the making. I don't have the massive collection that others have, but I like my new safe/ gun room. This just gives me a reason to buy more toys! It goes about 5000 lbs and has 12 grade 8 bolts, 5 " in the concrete(inside epoxy) . Hope the pics work and I hope everyone likes it as much as I do.
