For that MSRP if Taurus can keep them in stock Extar had better watch out!

That B&T style PDW brace has me autistically rocking back and forth in my chair with excitement. My only worry...proprietary magazine. *sigh* I don't see why they can't make it use an existing mag and then make their own to sell to the LE/Gov contracts.

Taurus actually made a 9mm PCC a few years ago. For some reason, it never made it to the US and then seemed to disappear shortly after that.

They have made a number of PCC and rifles for years but due to import restrictions haven't been able to sell them in the US. Back when the website was based in Brazil there were some interesting weapons listed there.

A lot of videos on Youtube are easier to digest at 2x speed. If they had a 3x speed option, that would be even better.

And it's made in brazil where a lot of germans migrated to after ww2, so there's probably still some loyalty to anything that looks like it was from germany.

Hard pass.

The way Taurus handled the free magazine rebates for all of us who bought tx22s l think I am done with buying anything from them.

Besides that it's direct blowback. There's gotta be over a dozen direct blowback pccs out there already. Who gives a shit.

Maybe if they came out with some type of delayed system then it might be worth a look. Too little too late.

I have a whole thread on the debacle here

Link

Long story short most of us who submitted for the rebate have had a very difficult time getting the 3 free mags after the rebate was approved. Taurus has problems from their website not updated, then not working with the code, mags kept going in and out of stock, their support was nonexistant, etc. Emails would go unanswered, calling them on the phone was impossible-they would never answer, the call back feature was disabled, many would wait hours on hold only to get someone and then get disconnected. It has been quite the mess. I finally after almost 3 months got my 3 free mags the other day after spending countless hours emailing, calling, etc. and after all that got a working code for their website when it was finally working and then again no notice of them shipping or anything, they just showed up at my house the other day. Absolutely aweful experience with Taurus. Godforbid I have a problem with on of their firearms and need technical support or warranty support. Can't even imagine what a nightmare that will be.

So, Taurus being Taurus.

I like it.

I wont be the first. I am never the guinea pig on any first gen gun. Especially with Taurus track record.

2 years down the road, maybe. I waited for the Stribog A3 and i am very happy.

I was in germany last week and ran into this and the Springfield Kuna. Both similar.
I liked the collapsible stock on the Taurus: if they release this as an accessory part and it can mount via pic rail that might be cool.

Crazy. I got the code and they were out of stock for a day or two. Then I got them. What, two whole days to get to me. It was crazy.

They even answered the phone when I called to make sure my code would still be good if they didn't come back in time as I was going on a trip in a few days. Told me on the off chance my code expired they would reissue me a new one.

Pretty decent looking for a Taurus.  I do own few Taurus so no hate there.  If they can market it here for $500-$600 would be worth a look for someone who doesn't already have blow black large format pistols.

I wonder what recoil feels like vs something like the Stribog. I am out on the standard AR9 world as the recoil just makes things the opposite of enjoyable for me

Also, it looks like that HG is a little long and may present problems with a can properly fitting

It was a contender for the PMESP tender the Kuna won.  It looks like they dropped it after it didn’t win, probably no money in mass production without the Brazilian contract.

I searched around and this thread is the top result.  Taurus Brazil only lists those CT9/40 abominations they used the import a long time ago and a me-too AR-9 build.

Buy a Kuna for the PMESP connection, ha.

If its like a TX22 with an easy FRT, I'd buy one.

Maybe Taurus has learned that supporting that FRT market segment = more sales????
