So I put an order in for some material to play around with making tarps / ponchos. Something to work on after getting the packs and other orders done - thinking about the future ya know? Any ideas on what you guys would like to end up seeing? Sizes, materials, etc? Also this would be a good general discussion on tarps / ponchos for field use. |

Yea, that's a bit more like an actual tent than what I'm thinking, but yea that's doable. You could use a hiking pole or just a regular tent pole instead of a tripod too. |

I liked the idea of making a shelter from the USGI poncho. Get tent poles and make an X, to make a pseudo tent. Alpha tent Would be nice to incorporate that use into the design, as opposed to jury rigging something. |
