Can a TT33 be safely carried with a round chambered and the hammer at 1/2 cock? Could it fire if dropped when in 1/2 cock?



I'd like to remove the added trigger safety but don't want a hole where it was. I saw a pic on another site where the guy made a piece that press fitted in to cover the hole. I don't have the tools to do this. Any idea where I could buy something like this or find someone who could make one?

I would weld the hole up and grind smooth, then reblue.

I intend to do with with my Romanian "beater" Tokarev...

I had thought about doing a weld also. My welding ability sucks though.
