I have had my Sub 2000 for about 4 years now and I love it, but I have never been a fan of the front sight. What options are there for a replacement? If you use the new rail system from Kel-Tec can you remove the front sight and use an AR style flip up front sight? I have seen the write ups on at the KTOG forums, but I woulth rather not use a high point or AK style sight.

let me google that for you

ETA:  I have also considered rigging an LED to illuminate the factory front sight post, operated by a pressure switch.  Batteries & jazz to be mounted inside the handguard.  It'll take some searching of fiber optics theory and small parts.  If I make a go of it, I'll be sure to post all the nitty gritty.
