Kinda need to read this to get the background

I want to know what I can do to improve my STD Tupperware stock from SA, I would love to put it in a JAE Stock but dont have the $$$ I have shimmed the GC and talked to Claude about a trigger job and informed him that I get a avg pull of 4lbs 10oz on a 10 pull avg using a digital pull gage and he advised that a trigger job most likely would not help, I have heard about bedding the action but not sure I am up to the job and I still want to be able to pull the action for cleaning and not sure you can still do that once it's bedded ?
So my question  is what options are left or are their none, what do I need to look for to ensure I am getting the best out of the stock

Thanks

If you don't think you're up to it, have a good gunsmith who specializes in NRA high power rifles do it.

My local gun smith, Derick Martin of Accuracy Speaks gunsmithing, has been working on M1's and M14's for high power competition for the last 30 years. For 300 bucks, he does all of the national match modifications, including bedding the stock. Go to your HTF and see if there is a similar smith in your area who can do the work.

If you want to do it yourself, there should be ample information on the internet as to how to do it. I've never done it, and I probably won't do it since it would disqualify the Garand from CMP games. But if I got an M14, you bet I'd have it done, or do it myself.
