Given the current buying frenzy & political climate, finding a good deal is gonna be tough, IMO.

Hit gun shows early.. sometimes, if you are luck you know.. lightning may stirke and yeah get that great deal..

sorry for the hijack, noone is really reponding.. i heard these weren't as reliable as the full size m1as. is that true? trying to learn.,

Might want to consider the bush or scout version. Then you can take advantage of different FH/sight configs.
