Are these just another HK clone or they decent rifles? They worth looking into? Ive started collecting HK and HK style rifles, so far i have in my collection a HK94, HK91, HK SL-8 Mars Cetme, and a SW94 clone. |

The early sheet metal SARs were built on the Greek military line using real HK equipment. These are the real deal. The later ones were built on bulky aluminum receivers and are clones at best. They are probably not bad rifles, but their selling price is far too much in my opinion. |
| The Greek-made SAR8s are made by a HK licensee. They are in every way extremely similar to the HK91. The trigger pack of the SAR8 is more related to the HK G3 than the HK91. HK made a special semi-auto trigger for th HK91s, but the trigger packs are interchangeable and will work in either rifle. The rear sight on the SAR8 has thumb screws where the HK91 requires the use of the HK sight adjustment tool. |
