I dont understand the Skoprion mag love. Yes the Gen 1 and Gen 2 Stribog mags sucked. The Gen 3 are fine. The scorpion's aren't magic - I've had them jam plenty enough on me in a Scorpions I'm curious if it takes Stribog mags (and vice versa), since all this is, is a Stribog. |

Personally, I’m fine with $25 mags. The ones made by HSProdukt are more likely to work out of the box and not have issues like the Stribog mags. I don’t see any need to spend a couple of hundred more on an aftermarket lower just to use Scorpion mags. I can buy a lot of factory Kuna mags for the price of a new lower. Also fine with the threaded barrel, although I’d rather they would have just put a simple thread protector on it instead of a comp you’ll have to wrench off. |

Sig dropped it, Glock is suppose to be dropping .40 models, you never see a .40 Beretta anymore unless used, FN seems to have dropped it too and I have not seen a new S&W .40 in ages. US LEO sales dictate caliber choice here and .40 is not selling. Like it or not 10mm is selling like hotcakes as is 9mm and .45ACP. It’s all about $$ |

I picked one up yesterday and am getting it setup for a range day. By the time I got to the fun store after work they had already sold half their stock. I got the last one in a box and they had 3 on display. It is very nice. My only complaints are super stiff selection lever and that when the brace is folded away it interferes with the full motion of the charging handle. No big deal for either though. I am sure the selector will smooth out. They did not have extra mags in stock yet at the store, so I jumped on the Springfield Armory site and bought 4 extras at $22.50 each after discount. I believe the looks are based on the Military stock, which is nice and thick like the Scrorpion factory stock, and the Brace, which is light and doesn't balance out the aesthetics as well. Military prototype:  Brace:  Some guy just got his SBR'd with a chunkier stock and VFG, looks a lot cooler imo. This is the same Kuna we can buy.

I think it needs a 20-25* angle pistol grip, those near-vertical ones look and feel so awkward. I think I prefer the straight-mag look (much like I do for the UMP) but understand that’s a 9mm consideration that got us the curved ones. |

Glocks even discontinuing some / many of its new Gen 5 .40s, to give a state of the market. I think the market for a .357 SIG version might be higher at like 10 guys who want the velocity. |

If they release it in .40 I’ll be one of the first buyers. Because it’ll be discontinued in under a year. In 9mm……why? Tons of other options out there. I’m kind of surprised they didn’t team up with SB tactical to make a braced version of their stock for it like they did for the evo. Not 100% but looks pretty dang close to the real thing. Much better aesthetically than a pic/folding combo. |

Why does anyone care about .40? Work part time gig at a large gun store. Haven’t sold a box of .40 ammo in years. Sold 1-2 .40 cal pistols a year. The fact people are bringing up wanting .40 is mind blowing. Then again, with every single gun release someone will always be like “dam if they only made it in ‘X-useless caliber’ I would have bought it”. If a gun comes out in that useless caliber, no one buys it. Funny how it works. Gun seems cool though. Time will tell to see if it’s reliable. Nice that the mags are cheap but sucks when the scorpion mags are so good and plentiful already |

They are those who bid up Ruger PCCs in .40 on Gunbroker, which were out of production for 3 years now. Although, the most common rationale for a .40 in Ruger is that it's good for pig. I cannot imagine anyone going after pigs with a Kuna. Well, maybe in Texas under nods, in a full tactical gear - boots, LBH, helmet. |
