[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Slug question

I have a few 12 ga slug shells where the slug is loose inside the shell. If I shake the shell the slug rattles around. Are they safe to shoot? Is there a way to fix them? Do I just need to throw 'em in the deepest part of the lake? It's just a few, no big deal, just wondering if they are safe to shoot or not. Thanks!

I would and have. Use them for training ammo at the range and get some more.

They are safe to shoot but they may not have the best accuracy.
