| I am looking for a good sling to use over an interceptor ves with HK53. Would appreciate some suggestions. I saw some slings that attach staright to the vest. Help would be appreciated Thanks. |

Ok so this is the vest attachment/sling I was looking at. Anyone have any experience with these? What other attachments would I need to make it work with an HK53?

Blue Force Gear MVS the mash hook will snap onto the rear sling point on the 53. But the rifle is now hanging from your neck like a neck tie. What will you do on transitions to fling it left or right to get it outta the way? Plus looks like it will only hang at a certain length no fast way to adjust length etc. i wouldnt get it but thats just me. 2cents imho ymmv and all that crap. |

I used something like it that I made out of some 1" tubular nylon and a brass clasp that I got at the hardware store. I just couldnt see spending money for something that you can make for less than $6. It worked really well. Transitions were very easy, just drop the weapon and go from there.
I liked the fact that the weapon would just hang there especially if you needed to go hands on with something. Edited to add that I dont like those MASH hooks at all. The little brass one that I got worked much better in my opinion. |
