I want to put preban sight bases on several barrels that have the bayonet lugs cut off.
Who can do this?
Norrell advertises TIG welding the lugs on but is so far behind he is turning down jobs for months apparently.
Anyone know who can do the whole sight or has the lugs to weld on.

You would think that you could just buy a lug and install it by drifting out the pin in the sight and reinstalling it with the new lug. NO?

dude you are thinking of the sling swivel, the bayo lug is actually a part of the base ring that goes around the barrel.

This takes work or some prefab lugs as near as I can tell.
I will pay,but I need SEVERAL.
Have you ever seen a preban lug and sight?

If anyone remembers the guy who inherited the machine shop let me know.
I may have found his niche.I can get all the front sight forgings I want but I am not a machinist,looks like 6 cuts with a CNC mill to me.
