[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Sig 556 SWAT

Going to make the leap and buy a Sig 556 SWAT. Supposidly, it comes with iron sights. You can see a front sight in the pic, but no rear sight. Does it have one, if so, is it the 552 style fold down apeture? Can I remove the tall fugly rail? If so, can optics be mounted without it? Has Sig sorted out the issues with canted rails and stuff?
Anything else you can tell me about these guns would be certainly appreciated.

They took an awesome weapon, the Sig 550 series, and crossbred it with an AR.
