Picked up an old Pacific "Super Deluxe" press, need shell holders.  Are they generic among RCBS, Hornaday, Lee, etc. or do I need to be mfg specific.  My old Herters Super "O" holders went with the old press, and my Dillon 550 doesn't use 'em so don't have a reference.

Depending upon how old it is it may be compatible.  Not all the old ones are, however.  Sometimes that's why you get a good deal on old presses--no shellholders available.

I think current shell holders work on that press, but you might have to try different brands as there are slight differences in the details.  I have RCBS shell holders that won't fit my priming tool but fit in the press just fine.
