How much does seating depth affect FPS or accuracy?  When loading .223, I try to keep my depth around 2.22 but sometimes that doesn't work if the cases are short or if the cannelure is high on the bullet.  By varying seating depth, I would expect that case pressure will change / thus affecting bullet speed.  Anyone have data on this?

Yes, seating depth increases pressure, with that change there is an affect on accuracy. If you want consistant target results then you need consistancy in all that you do reloading. For blasting ammo I wouldn't worry. For precision work I want case height and seating uniformity.
