I have a question concerning the scope that was used by the W.German army on their G3's.

How do you adjust it for the strike of the round ? It is hitting way high.  I bought one through the Sportsman's Guide for my PTR-91.

No manual came with it, and I do not speak or read German.  Any help you folks could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Medicguy

Make sure you have the BDC (Bullet Drop Compensation) knob set to the proper range...   it is marked 1 thru 6, 1 = 100m and 6 = 600m.

If your point of aim is on the target (say 100m downrange) but your point of impact is over your target the first thing I would check is to be sure the BDC knob is not at 6.

altavista babelfish should work for translating the German words on the scope.

Search babelfish on the search engine everyone uses and it's the first link that comes up.
