I have a 3gun AR with a burris 1-4x on it.

Do I:
1) buy VX6 2-12 and put it on the new 50bmg $1000
or
2) buy VX6 1-6 and put it on the AR, moving the 1-4x to the BMG? $900

The BMG hardly ever is shot past 100-200 yrds, and I usually had a red dot scope on it to keep people from scope love to the eyebrow.
The new vx6 has more than enough relief.

Sounds like you should sell the .50 or find a longer range.

Does the Burris scope on your AR satisfy your needs? IMO,if you're going to have a .50 it should have a scope capable of handling the ranges the .50 was meant for.

Meh. BMG is plenty fun at close range.
