How long are the back-orders taking for the SS 10x42's taking these days?

I ordered mine on the 15th and got it on the 22nd. Guess it's just a matter of who got in their orders first.

I bought a 10x42 rear focus on the Sunday before last, and it shipped out that Tuesday.

Their used website samplelist usually has demo models for like 249-259$. I picked up a 10x42 two weeks ago for 259$ shipped, and it was like brand new, they said it was a 'B' demo...

I ordered my 10x42 off of the SampleList two Sundays ago (late at night) and it came that Wednesday. It was what SWFA called a "demo-A" and it was practically new in box for 279.99. Anything you order off of the samplelist online is free shipping.

I ordered mine by phone and it magically appeared in my hand before I could even hang up the phone!!!!!!!!!

Are they really that good? I was leaning toward the Nikon Buckmaster in 4.5-14. What would change my mind?

How do you guys like these scopes? I am looking at putting one on my Bohica 50BMG. Bohica recomends them for a starter scope and I was wondering what experinces you have had with the optics.

I just replaced a Bushnell Banner variable with a fixed 16X42 SS demo-A I ordered from the sample list.

I'm very happy with the scope.

We had a minor backorder issue but all are in stock now and should have inventory for the rest of the year on all SS models.

Should have the 1-4SS out later this year also...

I have 10x42 rear focus SS scopes on:

AR10T
AR10A4 with FF stainless barrel
AR30
110FP in .30-06

and a 20x42 rear focus SS scope on my AR50.

They ain't no starter scope. Using the 10x42 on my 10T, I can bang steel at 1000 yards.

They are as good or better than a lot of scopes that cost more.

There are scopes that are a tad better but not so much better to justify the prices on some of them.
