[ARCHIVED THREAD] - SOG Flash II Question

I picked up a SOG Flash II yesterday. It is the one with the aluminum handle. The knife does not lock up tight when it is open, ie. there is some slight play in the blade. My question is this: is this normal? None of my Kershaws do this but they lock open different.

I have had a Flash II for a few years now, it’s always had a slight wobble, but it has not worsened. I carry and use it all the time.

Thanks for the reply. I returned the Flash II today and got a different one. This one locks up nice. I went for the Zytel handle this time.
