someone got scammed by a seller using my pics of the AUG CQC I used to own. This gun was traded 3 years ago so DO NOT BUY IT unless you have it in your hands.

I've seen these pics quite a bit on armslist and remember seeing them here first. At least you must have good taste in rifles!

I hate to see people getting scammed. Sucks even more cause they are doing it with my pics...

Looks like the listing was dealt with.  It is listed as a Scam now and has been removed.

A great portion, if not most, of the sales on Armslist are scams.

I've gotten IMs from users before saying they've seen rifles I've listed here for sale there too.

Started watermarking rifle pics after that.  Does anyone actually use Armslist, or is it just a collection of scammers taking turns screwing each other now?

I buy off of Armslist all of the time LOCALLY.  If I ask to meet for the sale and the seller refuses while demanding I send money, I report it as a scam.  I do not know if it is my track record or Armslist policy, but my reporting of a listing being a scam has always brought the listing down.

Even if it's listed locally, doesn't mean it is- unfortunately.  I was gonna go pick up a rifle for really good price (posted on Armslist) listed nearby, but seller never replied yet  kept re-listing it over and over.   Although dealing locally is probably the best - just as long as you dont need to send payment.
