| Does anybody know any great websites that sell to civilians looking to buy lvl 3a SAPI inserts for this vest |
|
Didn't like them? What specifically didn't you like? Even though they compete against me in this area, they are reputable companies selling a reputable product. That doesn't alleviate you, however, from learning about those products so that you understand what you're getting. I say this because there is no such thing as a Level IIIa SAPI insert. Level IIIa is soft-armor (i.e. Kevlar or other bullet resistant material), and Level III and IV are hard-armor plates. In every single dealing I've had in this area with vendors, SAPI has referred to armor plates, not soft-armor. If it's price you're not liking, hate to tell you but they have some of the most competitive prices around for armor plates. |
| If you know someone deployed...ask them to get the hook-up. There are all sorts of ways soldiers start their own amateur Surplus Shops because of "retrograde yards". Retrograde Yards are where U.S./Coalition forces un-ass discontinued/decomissioned (non-sensitive item) equipment like uniforms, Body Armor, Helmets, etc. |
Yeah...so those guys who were arrested and convicted selling stolen IBAs and SAPI plates on eBay were merely setting up an amateur surplus business?

Hmmm then would any of you know where to get these inserts because the site will only sell to LEO/Mil not civis |
