i dont know what to do with it its pissing me off i cant stop the damn stuff on my mossberg 500 damn me...help

| How are you storing it? Never leave it in a hardcase since it traps the moisture. Think about leaving some silica gel packs. If your natural climate is just humid, get used to the fact that you'll need to frequently check up on it and apply some oil. If you're not cleaning, consider LP (instead of CLP) because it's thicker and stays on longer. |

CLP and fine steel wool to remove the rust.
Wipe it down with a Sentry Solutions Tuf-Cloth ($11 or so from Brownells). If you keep the cloth sealed in the bag, good for dozens of uses (and it can be recharged). Strip down the gun and wipe down EVERYTHING (it won't harm plastic) you can reach. It's worked for me in humid and/or rainy European weather, humid middle eastern weather and also in various rust-prone spots in the US. |
