I noticed that I have a small spot of rust on the end of the slide on my P226. What is the best way to get rid of it and keep it from returning?

0000 steel wool, oil, & elbow grease. Use Break-free or other Teflon based oil as a preservative, abd do not oeave the 226 in a leather holster.
