Well, what you have in this thread, for the most part, is mirrored in other threads concerning Ruger.
For one thing you have a number of people who "hate" Ruger for reasons that they can't quite spell out.
They've read something or another on the Web, and that's it for them. Nevermind that the author may have had an axe to grind. Nevermind the solid support for the RKBA/NRA/ gun company lawsuit defense that Ruger has shown in the later years. Nope, counts for nothing.
I only hope that the individuals making such ill-informed statements never make a mistake, like Bill Ruger, Sr., did.
He, at least, realized his mistake and spent millions to atone for it.
When his critics appear before us, clean and unblemished, then I will listen to them.
For now, as I have said before, Ruger made mistakes, realized them for the errors that they were, and spent millions of dollars up to this day in trying to atone for same.
When his critics start their own firearms company, and perfectly adhere to their version of the Second Amendment while still staying in business for over 50 years, than I will listen to them.
For the most part, Ruger's critics on the SA issue are individuals who have done nothing.
