I'm needing the OAL on 30-30 loaded with 150gr PSP. Yes this for use in a bolt gun. And should I go with 3031 or H4895 at what starting point?

Never trust unpublished data. Check powder manufacturers website. Your not going get much responses for pet loads every rifle is different check published data work up your Loads.

A reloading manual will have load data and OAL listed. Use 150 gr bullet data.

Which will probably be trim cases to "trim to" length, seat bullets to mid cannelure and crimp.

Case prep

Finished 500 round batch.

There is no good reason to crimp 30-30 for use in a bolt action rifle unless it is tube fed. The 30-30 has a lot of neck tension more than twice what some popular rifle calibers have.

In the bolt gun the 30-30 is like any other caliber. Adjust your OAL to what you want. If you can get .010" off the lands, touching the lands, what ever go for it.

I've had real nice results with Leverevolution powder and the FTX bullet. It really is a large boost in performance for the 30-30 Win.

My bolt gun does really well with the Lever Evo powder and either the Sierra or Speer 170gr bullets.  For whatever reason it prefers the heavier bullets.  The factory leverevolution ammo also shot well through it.
