What do you guys think of these?  I found one for $2600, supposed to be in excellent condition.  Are parts and mags easy/cheap to come by?  Is that a reasonable price?

Oh god, I remember when they were $300-$500.  And that wasn't that long ago. That is a decent price for what I have seen intha past year.

They are decent guns, but just be sure to clean them well.

The Marines hated them in the South Pacific, but you will not be storming any island beaches so yuo should be fine.

Anything under $3k is a steal nowadays for an excellent original Reising .... all I have seen in the last six months are $3,500-3,900.

Parts are out there, and they are pretty durable guns (as noted, ya just gotta keep them clean). Mags are pricey right now, but in another eight weeks they'll be cheap again.

If you decide to pass on it, email the seller info to me!

The price is right if the gun is as advertised. I bought one for my first gun a few months ago. I will share with you some of my experiences and observations thus far........

Current prices seem to be running at about $3,200 +

Firing springs are a weak point and do break, keep spares on hand.

The compensators are prone to having the rings in the top of them break off under fire. In the few months I have owned my gun I have lost most of the rings from my comp.

Installing new hammar and action bar springs are highly advised. This will help keep the gun from beating on itself.

Installing a 2 piece bumper plug is cheap insurance.

Parts are available from a guy in Ohio by the name of Paul Hayes. I am pretty sure he has any part you may need and he is a great guy to work with.

Currently magazine prices are high. 20 rounders are running between $100 - $150
30 round aftermarket mags start at about $150.  I have heard that the 30 rounders will be made again once the ban drops so hopefully the price will come down.

My gun has a pretty fast rate of fire. I have heard that the R.O.F. on Reisings is all over the map. Some run at a nice rate, some are fast.

Hope some of this helps.

Edited to add that if you are interested in seeing the R.O.F., I have a couple short videos on line. You will have to register at the site (free) to see them though. heres a link... www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4288194751
