Does anyone have any recommendations for a replacement for the crappy rear sights on my Win 94? I've heard that the Lymans and Williams peeps are somewhat fragile. Any truth to this?
Any other brand recommendations. Anything has to be better than the loose buckhorns that are on it now...

I would suggest a tang type sight by either Lyman, Marble or Williams. The tang sights enhance accuracy by extending the sight radius.
They can be fragile if left extended when you are not shooting but all you have to do is fold them down. JarheadGunner.

My friend put some Williams Sights on his Win '94. Williams makes a sight specifically for the Win 94. It is vastly superior to the factory sight. Are you sure they are fragile? Check out the ad as Gander Mountain. www.gandermountain.com/tabs/gunsmithing/sights.html
