| ..is the bolt on a FAL supposed to lock after the last round?..if so and it does not whats the usual culprit?...its an older Century metric lower inch upper I believe |
|
i think they did it to keep crap from getting into the rifle....gunpartsguy had them but i think he shut down, or at least got out of the fal biz...is your pin ground down or removed? like i said it may be able to be fixed or a metric may work....
try ds arms, enterprise, gunthings.com or falfiles.com |

I will do a close exam of the pin to determine, thanks for the info...much appreciated....in the long run its no worse than any of my AK's..just some getting used to ETA....upon closer examination the BHO mechanism is intact and operates manually with no problem, if the "PIN" you refer to is the one that rides in a slot and is actuated by the tab on the magazine follower,...yes it is present but it is flush with the slot it rides in thus precluding last round hold open...is that "PIN" itself replaceable or would it be best to fit a new BHO? |

Replace it with a longer pin. Small finish nail works I think. |
