A friend of mine just bought me a set a of Sordin Supreme Pro hearing protection. I've done some reading nad they appear to be of excellent quality. My question's are as follows: 1. I shoot with prescription Oakley M-Frames, hows the fit going to be? Normally i have to use plugs because the mickey mouse ears dig into my temple to much. 2. For indoor use should i use plugs and the Sordin's? I've already got a little hearing loss from an incident in the Navy involving me, some dumb ass kid and a 25mm Deck Gun. 3. What kind of performance should i expect? I've read the data sheet - looked for some reviews and found one on Snipers Hide. A search here doesn't get anything except a brief mention when a search for Peltor is done. Thanks again.

You might read through this thread www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=19&t=212106. I wear M-Frames with my Sordins without issue, but YMMV. I would probably wear earplugs with them indoors, as the NR isn't that high. Also, Military Morons has a review as well. Dave |
