I ordered some ammo from Ammuntionstore.com and the ad said 2001 manufacture, truly non-corrosive.

What I got shipped to me was dated May 1997.  The ad left me believing that prior to 2001, the ammo was NOT non-corrosive.

Is this May 1997 ammo actually non-corrosive and okay for my AK?  I realize I'm on the AR website, and will also ask on the AK side, but thought I might get a quicker response here.

BTW, the ammo is suppose to be Barnaul, but I haven't opened the package yet, so they could have sent me Wolf instead if that makes a difference.  The date of manufacture is just marked on the outside of the box, that's how I know.
