Someone gave me a new Pro Tech Godfather.  I don't know anything about knives.  Is this a good sticker?

Protech makes great autos and they have a reputation for excellent customer service. They are well-known for having a solid snap and great build quality. Enjoy it. It has become a classic sideopenener and lots of folks believe every switchblade collection is incomplete without one.

The Godfather is a knife that was allegedly sold to the US Secret Service at one point. I don't know if that's true or not. The blade shape is best suited for puncturing/stabbing and you may find it difficult to use for everyday cutting tasks where a little curved "belly" helps. The other thing about the blade is that the thin tip is prone to breaking off if subjected to too much force/abuse.

Bradley partnered with Protech to make "The Underboss" which addresses the issues of the blade, but it is a smaller size knife, more akin to the size of the Protech "Godson."

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the responses.  I guess I'll use it as a weapon-retention tool though I'll probably leave that mostly to the TDI I keep behind my mag pouch.  This thing is super sharp.

Question.  If I do manage to break the tip am I screwed or can I send it back?

I would expect that you'd be "screwed" but I'm not 100% sure what ProTech would say about it. Worst case scenario, the blade can be reground.
