Anybody have any experience with the Blackhawk plate carriers, specifically this model:

Its the S.T.R.I.K.E. I'm thinking of picking one up but I've heard some things about other Blackhawk products that makes me a little weary of just picking this up

Your pics are not showing up on my computer.  But I would get a TAG Banshee, WAY before getting anything Blackhawk as far a PCs goes.

Is the Blackhawk US made?

Judging from the cut and staggered molle webbing upfront it looks like an EI SPC aka scaleable plate carrier.

Would you guys recomend a woosatch-E with seperate pouches or the Wasatcha/Weesatch. I keep reading about how the Wa-Wee's slack up when mags are taken out, versus the Woosatch with seperate mag pouchs that stays tight. Thanks!

My low profile/ vehicular movement setup.

Crye JPC with Ares Armor Combat XII pack

I wanted a system I could use slick or load it up a little bit and still wear under an oversized jacket so no dedicated hydration pouch or IFAK on the plate carrier itself, both are housed in the quick release pack.

My dismount patrol setup.

Eagle PC w/ cummerbund and Ares Armor Combat XII pack

My older setup that I needed to mod quite a bit to get what I wanted out of it.

TAG Banshee, ESSTAC 3 mag wedge. Gotta get some KYWIs for it, and out to the range to test it out.

Let those shoulder straps out a bit, your liver isn't covered and your lungs start lower than you'd think. JMO.

I decided to go with the HSGI shoulder pads after I saw that the Shellback pads weren't out until november. I'm happy with them.

I replaced the HSGI utility pouch and 2 mags with a lower profile maxpedition pouch while using a warbelt.

The ATS mag pouch was replaced with an ITW fastmag which is great.

You copying me boy?

Were going to have basically the same setup lol. I have that TYR and source coming next week to boot...

I hate fastmags....take a look at the eagle FB pouches. They are open top with kydex sewn inside , I use two on my belt.

Great minds think alike I suppose - BUT you went with the TYR because of my post, right? lol.

At this point I'm happy with the fastmags, but I'll look at the FB's.

Maybe I also wanted something from a smaller manufacturer and that didn't look like a box or a traditional hydro carrier.

added another piece of gear to my closet.  I've only had it for a short while, but it's nice.  It doesnt have the padding that the SPC has, but its not bad.  very light, and pretty low profile.

Mayflower APC, s/m
SAPI plates, medium
Mayflower kangaroo M4 pouch
BFG 10 speed

Also, where in NC was this? I have a hell of a time trying to find good places to shoot here...

I want to swap my vest for a plate carrier. I've been trying to decide between the Eagle PC + cummerbund and the Mayflower APC. Now the Banshee looks good, especially for the price. The local store carries TT and a couple friends have the HEV and the LPAC but I want something different. I've check out all the reviews and YouTube videos on the plate carriers in question and it seems like a toss up. Any one have a direct comparison or any input on choosing one PC out of the others?

Made some changes to my Banshee PC.

I also connected the c-bun to the carrier with shock cord rings to keep it from moving around too much but also allow stretch.

How well does the knife attach to molle? Is it designed to or did you have to force it?

what is it like with a backpack with that hydration on the back?

you remove it if you are gonna wear a pack?

I used several zipties to lash a Tactical Tailor malice clip to the back. Two were tight the one in the middle was a little slack; this attched with no issues.

just got the RRV, and like it much better than my EPC, so im in the process of building it up.

still up in the air whether i want to keep my IFAK the way it is or if i want a different pouch.
still want to add either a triple shingle under the BFG, or get the PIG inserts for the kangaroo pouch of the RRV.
contemplating finding a Spine MAP or just a MAP or other molle attachable pack. contemplating an eagle Yote.
