A strange looking creature for sure. Thanks. |

Again: Alcohol, Tobacco and and firearms should be the the name of a convenience store, not a government agency. Sad state of affairs. |

Move to South Africa. |

Stop talking like the ATF actually wants you to have guns. |
well ya know, since the gov is short on cash i guess i could help out and buy some of those...
"just to help"......? don't say it i know.......... |
Is that possibly a Boys anti-tank rifle? Not sure, must research. |
These are the people charged with keeping the rest of us from having collections just like that.
Since these are maintained by our tax dollars, does that mean we can shoot 'em? Hell, if I'm paying for 'em...
I still need to get that shirt |

Somewhere in there is a full auto Thompson that the ATF stole from one of my Dads friends. He had it registered to him and followed all the laws. This was back in the 60's, so imagine how "strait" they are now.
Wow. Do I assume it was confiscated? If so, how in the hell did someone get ahold of that?! |
Please give us some details if you can. Damn..... |
My Dads friend worked for the ATF. Well, he had a full auto Thompson. He went through all the proper channels to get the firearm. He went through all the paper work and got the gun registered to him, it was HIS gun. Than one day they told him to give it up or he was fired(he had done nothing wrong and owned the gun legally, he still has the paperwork). So, to keep his job he gave them HIS gun HE owned with all the proper paperwork. About a week later the gun was hanging behind the desk of the than head of the ATF. To this day they still illegally have his firearm. |

Are we sure these are ATF held weapons? I mean I don't see anyone dressed like a goverment drone. I see nice carpet and custom built racks. The weapons are being handled with gloves on as if this was a collection at a museum. Even if they are held at the ATF I'm thinking these are not conficated weapons given that there are clearly some unique and prototype weapons being handled there.

ETA:
This pic looks like an ATF credential being worn by the guy with the blue shirt. You got it..and I thought I saw a federal credential being worn by another of the guys in the pics, sortta looked like a FBI shield on his. Yeppers, almost looks like a tour was being conducted for a group associated with FN..lucky bastiches. At least these weapons are unlikely to end up under the torch. MB. |

i worked for a 02 manf. and anytime we built "something different" for production we had to sent it in (i think) to tech branch to get checked out for it's legality.. im not sure but i could have sworn they keep one for 'records'(or something like that) they are to have one of everything and (i think) every configuration and caliber for comparison.. or something like that.. its been a wile for me......
