ATF received/check cashed 1/26/2018 Approved 4/18/2019 At dealer 4/29/2019 Examiner: Carrie Fisher Dates are correct. I spoke with my examiner personally after trying to check on it and apparently the ATF's lawyers decided to change the definition of "responsible person" to include successor trustees so had to acquire their prints and photos as well. Just a heads up to those who have a trust pending |

Did they pro-actively contact you or did you get lucky when checking in? For my trust successor trustees have no authority, no more than a beneficiary, so I'll be pissed if they pull this arbitrary bullshit going forward. Has anyone else seen this change in interpretation of Responsible Person? |

Nothing more. It may be in your best interests to check in on it |

I have a unique name, ultra clean record, and various documentations/security clearences held with TSA/DHS if that adds anything or not. |

1-12-18 mailed form 4 1-23-18 check cashed 8-23-18 status check and was told it was "in process". 8-24-18 called and was told pending FBI background 3-19-19 called and was told still pending FBI background. Spoke with examiner and was told FBI was currently processing background checks from 7-18 and could be several more months. 5-15-19 form was approved 5-24-19 form was at dealer and picked up can. From mailbox to mailbox 497 days or 16.33 months. |

Purchased 8/20/2018 Check cashed 9/6/2018 I never called to get a pending date Approved 5/23/2019 FFL Dealer called me 6/6/2019 and said that he had received my approved paperwork. 259 days from check cashed to approved. 290 days from purchased to arrival at the dealer. |
