cleaned it good and shot it with yellow engine paint
a touch discolored around the front sight, but otherwise OK so far.

I shaved my FSB down to make it a lo pro gas block, since I was spraying the gas block I just hit the tube too.

I have a yhm ff tube which makes the gas tube very visable so i wanted to paint up the gas tube.

That makes sense I guess. Probably help to rough it up a bit with some emery paper before spraying, but since it is subject to exactly zero wear, I wouldn't be afraid to hit it with some black hi-temp BBQ paint, personally.
