[ARCHIVED THREAD] - PVS-7 Accessories

I have recently acquired a pvs-7 and was looking at possibly buying a IR spot/flood assembly and a Matbock Tarsier Eclipse NVG Focus Enhancement Device. Was wondering if anyone has had experience with either one of these on a pvs-7 and are they worth getting?

You can build an adjustable shutter very similar to the item you speak of for something like $20 from amazon if you wish to save money. You will be better served to buy a good IR light than the flood/spot adapter IMO.

Look at eBay for lots of cheap PVS-7 accessories. Just be careful what you buy and make sure they are not knockoffs. I don't buy anything I can't return for my money back.

The Tarsier and IR spot/flood are both very useful. The Hoplite is cheaper than the Tarsier but both work well.
