I have an OC Dial. I had to send it back to them with my MSA ACH to have them fit it. Apparently my helmet was made to different specs. They said this was almost never the case. Customer service was fantastic. They paid for all shipping and got my helmet back to me promptly. Luckily my supply Sergeant took care of me in the meantime with an extra ACH.
As far as Fit. I had to get the XL chinstrap. I saw on the website they have pics of Burt and Ernie (Burt was my scenario) now to better describe it. Once you get it in your helmet and clamp it down you'll love it. I no longer get an NVG headache and I making me love my ACH even more (if that were possible). The only downside is my helmet liner makes me sweat like crazy sometimes causing my eyewear to fog. The newer models may have holes to help with this (I got it a year and a half ago and mine is flat black). My helmet cover did not fit at all BTW, it is now heavily modified and bungee'd to my helmet (although you would never know that). I really like it but if your unit requires a helmet cover you will need to get inventive. SOS |
