Is it not recommended to shoot .22 through a Ops Inc 15th. Have one sitting in a drawer and wondering what to do with it.

OPs bros, I’m kicking around the idea of doing a flush fit MRE build with an AEM5. What’s going to be the recipe for that?
Would I be better of starting with a 16” barrel? I’ll need a collar and brake. Any particular length collar? I know the barrel will need to be cut, but will it need to be profiled for the collar? @CMCtx @unclemoak @into_the_void Or any other dudes with knowledge. Thanks. |

Ron, this is what I currently have on my MK12. I get about 3 turns. Is this enough info for a custom collar? The goofy triangle at the bottom of the drawing is my FSB. Attached File Also, what are the chances of another M24 run? Thanks |

What’s the preferred method for installing a AE muzzle break to use with an AEM5? Shims or crush washer?
Are you guys using rocksett with both methods? |

I finally got around to putting my AEM5 on a 12.5" barrel (still haven't found an A2 upper for the Gordon clone). The can is 8.5 turns. Is this too much? My mk12 mod 0 is a turn less.

Hey everyone,
Sorry if this has been covered somewhere in the last 78 pages, but what is the difference in size of the bullet exit hole on the front cap between the original Ops Inc 12th, AEM5, and the latest AEM5 where Ron has increased the diameter a bit to reduce the likelihood of front cap strikes? @k31user - Do you remember exactly when you made this change? I'm trying to figure out if the AEM5 I have in NFA jail right now is different than the one I have that was produced over a year ago. Out of curiosity, is it possible to "special order" an AEM5 with the original spec bullet hole diameter if I promise not to send it back for a cap strike repair? Some of us actually use bore alignment rods before blasting rounds through a freshly mounted suppressor! |
