| Hey everyone, I've been cruising the internet and here for an optimal molle vest, perferably a PC. However, I'm a lot of man! lol I wear 2x - 3x shirts depending on maker and 40-42 inch waist. Any ideas? I am looking at the blackhawk or eagle PC's however don't want to pay 100-400 dollars and not have the damn thing fit. Thanks for any advice. |
| Try the new TAG Plate Carrier. Reviewer there says he thinks it'll fit the big guys as well. Price is right, too. |

Fallonmedic, if your in the 6'1" we are about the same size. I have a Large Eagle PC w/cummerbund and it will fit. You will have to replace the 550 cord with a longer piece so that it fits comfortably. If you're going wear it without the cummerbund you do not have to change anything. The only drawback for me was that the whole thing was a little short. I know it will only provide protection the length of the plates but it still rode uncomfortably high for me. YMMV. I now have the new TAG PC. For me it is more comfortable and a little easier to get into. You can't wear it without the cummerbund which may be a drawback with the NV heat. |
