The gun wont function reliably in the low power setting (piston 1 light loads).

Fails to cycle.

I can't offer much help, other than to say that's not normal. Is your gun new, modified in any way or??? My SX2 Practical is still fairly new, but I have not had a single malfunction with mine. Before I shot it I cleaned it well to get the heavy grease out, lubed it with FP10, and the first 50 rounds through it were 3 1/4, 1 1/4 oz. loads to start getting everything seated. Other than sighting it in with slugs, I then switched to trap and sporting clays loads-even shot 50-pair ATA doubles this past weekend with 2 3/4, 1 1/8 oz. loads without a problem.

Brand new and box stock...

I did the take down and cleaning. I will clean it again and re-lube with FP10.
