Small Arms Review magazine did a review of them, and said the very first ones were sent to a US firm that didn't do such a hot job modifying them (they come over as Saiga AK Carbines, and have the trigger moved up to the AK position, barrel cut down to AK length and re-crowned, and AK style furniture replaces a traditional rifle stock and grip) but they have found a better firm that modifies the guns with acceptable quality now.

I've never seen an Izmash AK, but looked over one of their carbines a few weeks ago, and they seem a definite step up from my Romanian in terms of build quality.
