| I've seen a few threads on what settings you need to set your compressor at and what size sand you need to blast a firearm, but now I can't find them. Anyone have a link or can anyone tell me again? Thanks. |

We use 80 to 120 grit dry mesh media (Aluminum Oxide or Garnet) size vaires depending on the look we want or what we are doing (like removing pitting or rust) Set the compressor between 12 and 20 psi. Start at 20 psi and turn down as needed, the coating should come out smoothly and evenly and not have a rough or gritty appearance. Spray it onto a scrap of something until you get the air / product volume good to go. Joe |
